Valued Client Since: 2007With fewer than 1,000 full-time residents and an area of approximately 12.5 square miles, the City of Industry has distinguished itself as a job creator since it was first incorporated in 1957. The City now employs close to 80,000 people, and a combined total of 1.8 million people earn their living within its boundaries.
The City of Industry is situated near the center of a vast five-county population concentration in southern California. Its strategic San Gabriel Valley location affords convenient freeway and airport access to the manufacturing and distribution sectors, and its placement within the Thirty-Mile Zone makes it a valuable backyard resource for filmmakers.
Aided by a permit process streamlined by FilmL.A., filmmakers working on-location in the City of Industry can take advantage of the city's wide, tree-lined streets, manufacturing and warehouse facilities, and attractive modern office buildings. The Puente Hills East Business Center, the Crossroads Business Park, and the Pacific Palms Resort and Conference Center all welcome requests for filming.
The 292-room hilltop resort, in particular, covers 650 acres and includes golf courses, swimming pools, a spa, tennis center and other camera-ready amenities.
