Valued Client Since: 2008In January, 2008, FilmL.A. partnered with the City of Lancaster to provide the Antelope Valley city with exclusive film permit coordination services and industry/community relations. Lancaster is situated approximately 50 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. It was incorporated as a city in 1977.
Lancaster's choice to partner with FilmL.A. made our services available to the city's 145,000 residents and expanded filmmaker access to locations throughout Lancaster's 94.2 square-mile jurisdiction. Streamlined access for filmmakers now joins clean air, wide open spaces and a close-knit community as attractive city characteristics.
Filmmakers working on-location in Lancaster can take advantage of the city's many popular locations for filming, including the City-owned baseball stadium, national soccer center and performing arts center.
Lancaster places a high priority on attracting and retaining businesses. Affordable land, a streamlined development process and an expanding community make Lancaster an ideal environment in which businesses can thrive and grow.
Lancaster was named "Most Business-Friendly City" at the 12th Annual Eddy Awards held by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation. As the local saying attests, "it's positively clear" that Lancaster is a city on-the-move.
