FilmL.A., Inc. accepts payment via cash, check, or Permits on Account.
PERMITS ON ACCOUNT
Permits on Account is a new program allowing well-qualified, creditworthy customers to request permits and be invoiced for them later. Applying for an account is simple. Just complete and return the application form with the authorization to verify business credit references and related information to FilmL.A. for prompt consideration. Acceptance into the “Permits on Account” program is based on a uniform set of credit criteria, and is not guaranteed. Any questions you may have about the application or the program in general should be directed to FilmL.A.’s accounting staff at 213-977-8600.
FEE DISCOUNTS
Permits are mandatory for all productions. Fees are discounted by many jurisdictions if you can prove you are a non-profit production or a government production. (See specific jurisdiction for actual rules.)
REFUNDS
If you are due a refund, please fill out the following form.
CANCELLATIONS
Once a permit or rider number has been assigned, we will not waive the permit or rider fees. If a permitted activity is canceled, and adequate notice is given, FilmL.A. will work with the applicant in an attempt to cancel services and locations for which fees have been collected. However, FilmL.A. collects fees on behalf of our contracted jurisdictions, so specific jurisdictions will make the final decision whether to cancel the fee. We make no commitment concerning waiver or refund of fees in the event of a cancellation.
